Mr. Kupferschmidt specializes in governance, anti-corruption and the political economy of illicit markets, and has 20 years of experience  working with businesses, governments and intergovernmental organizations in Latin America, Europe and the former Soviet Union. His serves as a strategic advisor to Crown Point  Equity in New York, and was Executive Director of the Harvard University's Center for Latin American Studies, and the director of a human rights project in Ukraine for the United States Agency for International Development. Mr. Kupferschmidt also has consulted to the United Nations, the European Union, and USAID on issues of governance and democratization, and to U.S. information technology and telecommunications firms operating in Latin America. Mr. Kupferschmidt holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, a masters from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Based in New York City, David Kupferschmidt  leads Global Insight's business development in the United States.
