Mr. Goddard is the Managing Director and founder of Global Insight Ltd. He has been working as a consultant in the investigations field, in both the public and private sectors, for twenty-five years.

He was formerly Managing Director of the Asian operations of Kroll Associates, a US-headquartered investigations consultancy, then Regional Head of Decision Strategies / Fairfax International, another US-based investigations consulting company.

Before moving to Hong Kong in 1991, Mr. Goddard worked in the Strategic Intelligence Unit of the Australian government's National Crime Authority (NCA) where his field of expertise was in Asian Organised Crime.

He started his career and received his early training as an intelligence officer with the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO).

Mr. Goddard is a former president of the Singapore Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and former vice-president of the Singapore Chapter of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).

Mr. Goddard has a wealth of experience in investigation and risk consulting in Asia covering the breadth of Global Insight’s product areas.

	investigating a number of large institutional frauds;
	large corruption cases and various violations of US FCPA laws;
	world-wide asset tracing investigations;
	conducting sensitive business intelligence assignments;
	investigating trademark infringement cases;
	establishing programmes to protect prominent brands; and
	establishing security programmes for multi-national corporations operating in Asia.

Mr. Goddard appears periodically on regional news and current affairs television to comment on issues involving political risk, regional security and investor confidence.

He is also an active speaker at conferences on subjects including fraud and corruption, political risk and crisis management.
